Dr Jonathan (Hoe Keat) Tan grew up in Penang, Malaysia. He uses he/him pronouns. As a young child, he always envisioned helping people in some form of way which led him to study medicine.
Dr Jonathan Tan graduated from Auckland University, New Zealand in 2010 before moving to Adelaide, South Australia for his internship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and did his resident years at Queen Elizabeth Hospital for 2 years.
After several rotations as a medical student and also as an intern, he decided that he wanted to be a GP. He loves the concept of cradle to grave doctor patient relationship which is fulfilling and satisfying.
As part of his General Practice training in South Australia, he has worked in regional areas such as Millicent and Murray Bridge.
He became a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2016 and has worked as a GP in Adelaide Hills 6 years. Dr Jonathan then moved to Melbourne to continue his passionate work as a General Practitioner.
In his free time, he loves to take his dog for walks, catching up with friends and family; planning his next travel destination and he has a passion for musicals and theatre productions. He is also a big foodie and loves to try different cuisines.

To provide the best possible care an out-of-pocket fee will apply to your consultation.

BULK BILLING
For Children Under 15: 8:00am to 5:00pm
St Kilda Road Medical Centre is a private billing Medical Clinic.
Dr Jonathan Tan will bulk bill children under 15 years of age until 5pm every day.
After 5pm, full rates apply. Bulk billing does not apply to Saturdays.
HOTDOC TELEHEALTH BOOKINGS & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
If you are booking a Telehealth appointment, Telehealth Results appointment or a video link appointment, you will be required to enter your credit/debit card details.
HotDoc will send you a link, if you do not enter your card details within 90 minutes of your appointment, it will automatically be cancelled. Your card will only be charged after your appointment with the doctor. If the doctor chooses to bulk bill you, you will not be charged.
HotDoc do not store your card details once payment is made. Therefore, every time you book a
Telehealth appointment you will be asked to enter your card details. If you do not have a HotDoc account, you will need to register by following the link which is sent by HotDoc to complete your booking. You may also be required to download the app to your mobile device.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please ensure you let the clinic know at least 2 hours before your appointment time if you wish to cancel or reschedule, otherwise a $40 cancellation fee for a standard appointment and $80 for a longer appointment will apply.
